Wide, low homes call for different shapes than a two-story. Here is how each style fits.
A classic shape for bedrooms on a one-story home, opening from the bottom for fresh air.
Single hung windowsA natural match for long ranch-style walls, opening across the width instead of up.
Sliding windowsOpens wide on its hinge to pull in a breeze from the yard, and locks firm when closed.
Casement windowsBig fixed glass for a view across a large lot or backyard, with clear sightlines.
Picture windowsLow-E impact glass that keeps strong sun on a wide, open lot from heating up the house.
Energy efficient windowsEvery window is made to measure, so we size each one to your home and price it in writing.
The scope below is the same written scope in every Guardian window contract.
Davie has a more open, rural feel than much of Broward, with larger lots and plenty of one-story homes. Those homes often have long rows of windows that take full sun, so we talk through glass and style choices for each side of the house.
Davie belongs to Broward County, so it sits in the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone and every window we put in here is approved for that code. We file the permit, schedule the inspections and close it out.
We measure every opening and bring real samples.
